It's an honour to transform treasured family heirlooms into a fresh new piece, as was the case with Rachel's bespoke ring.
Rachel came to the Harlequin studio with some very special pieces belonging to her dear dad. The first was a gold wedding ring with a sentimental engraving. The second was a tie pin, with an illusion set diamond in the centre.

Instead of keeping them tucked away in a drawer never to be worn again, Rachel sought our help to transform them into a piece she could wear every day in memory of her dad.
Wanting a timeless, versatile design, we set out to transform Rachel's heirlooms into a single diamond ring. Rachel had a special request - could we keep her dad's engraving in tact in the new piece?

For the new design, we created a brand new setting for the diamond, and made it the central feature of Rachel's ring. Along the shoulders, we added some small brilliant cut diamonds for some extra sparkle.
As for the engraving? Well, that remains as it was, tucked safely inside Rachel's new ring. Below you can see the yellow gold peering through the base of the ring.
