Any type of jewellery made with precious metals (gold and platinum), diamonds, or coloured gemstones is generally suitable for remodelling. Our jewellery maker will first inspect your jewellery with you to determine whether they’re suitable for remodelling.

Every project varies depending on how complicated the design is, and whether we need to source specialty gems to complete your design. Typically, we take around 3 months to complete a remodel. We don’t rush things, especially with sentimental pieces that deserve the utmost attention and care.

We completely agree that sentimental jewellery is far more valuable than any monetary value, and treat it like we would our own heirlooms. We have a full service jewellery workshop at our Canberra studio where we take great care with heirloom remodels.

We have gemmology expertise right here in the studio for gemstone identification, and can arrange for formal testing to be carried out at a laboratory if needed.

Every remodelling project varies widely depending on the design, the metal, and if there are gemstones we need to add or replace to complete your design. We recommend arranging an appointment to get even a ballpark quote for your jewellery remodelling project. Consultations with our jewellery maker, Matthew, are free.
